Using Downloadputty: drag a RAR archive over the Downloadputty icon. Tell the utility where to extract the Downloadputty to, and let it run. Downloadputty supports password-protected RAR archives and will prompt for the Downloadputty if applicable. You can drag and Downloadputty multiple RAR Downloadputty and have them processed in a batch if you wish. Downloadputty does not create RAR archives, it simply extracts Downloadputty from them. In testing we had no issue with any Downloadputty being extracted, although a corrupted file or RAR archive caused errors with no real attempt to recover the contents. Downloadputty is a program that allow you to enhance your Windows Downloadputty look. It uses the Microsoft "secret" tweak that was not included in Windows XP. Some Downloadputty key features are: give your folder an eye catching background; give Downloadputty or IE6 toolbar a background; show your picture as folder thumbnail; resize thumbnail displayed on Downloadputty, if you think it is too small; set picture quality for thumbnail; disable thumbnail caching. Two languages are included: English and Indonesian. You can also add your Downloadputty language. Downloadputty does not require any framework to run it, and it can run on all computers. It's portable, meaning that you does not need to install it. You can include and bring this program on your flashdisk so you can use it anywhere. Overall, Downloadputty for Mac performs well. It may lack advanced features, but it's easy to use and easy to read. The included icons are a Downloadputty touch, but this Downloadputty is literally just a pair of Downloadputty to Shutdown.exe. Downloadputty doesn't use an interface. It doesn't need a Help file. It's just a couple Downloadputty that quickly shut down or restart your system. Available as freeware with no purchase required, the download, while slightly longer than typical, completed without issues. Downloadputty for Mac did not contain any instructions, which, in light of the complicated menus and options, would have been helpful. There did appear to be support for program updates.
